Director of International Affairs
Mr. GAO is one of the co-founders TOGO INDUSTRIES GROUP (TiG) since inception. He is a Chinese native and has traveled across Africa since 2012, giving him a comprehensive understanding of African culture and exceptional advantage in international investment.
Mr. GAO holds the position of Director of Asian Division and he is an Executive member of the Board of Directors. As such He is responsible for the strategic planning and key policy decisions that constitute the core values of the TiG.
Lei GAO is a Charted Fund Manager who has over 10 years of professional experience spent in Private Equity Investment across United States, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, France and China , covering all industries including food, beverage, heavy machinery, packaging, real estate and so on . He has spent the last 8 years in project financing all across Africa. Mr. GAO is very enthusiastic about the affairs concerning the socio-economic development of Africa as a whole and He is particularly keen about the well-being of the people of Togo. His shared vision with his colleagues of TiG is to positively impact the growth of the Togolese economy and to contribute in the industrialization of many vital sectors in Togo with a focus on the modern agricultural sector. Mr. GAO and the executive team of TiG profoundly believe that the industrialization of all major economic sectors in Togo will result in value chain creation, training and transfer of know-how, job creation and social uplifting of many.
Lei GAO holds a Master of Science in Financial Risk Management from University of San Francisco, a B.S in Public Administration from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, and License of Fund Management of China.
